Its been a long time coming hasn't it but tomorrow all going well we'll be up at 4.30 am and arrive in Edinburgh about 8.30 or so. The weather is fine for both locations , a bit of a breeze and clouding over later and cold. I wonder if we will ever get any spring at all. Anyway all the DVD orders from the Bank Holiday weekend went off this morning to destinations far and wide, Netherlands, Australia, France etc. I've got todays orders ready and will drop them all in the post box on our way out. The camera bag in ready, tripod in Mandy's car, we'll stop for a comfort break at Abingdon services and I believe that you can use a cafe in Scotland now. Folk are going to have to get used to us being on trips again as we gear up for full British Isles coverage and then to continental trips and possibly Asia in the winter. Thankfully all the UK stats are in line with a reduction in restrictions and at a bit further away we hear that all Covid stuff like social distancing will vanish by summer. So bear with we can't film and pack DVDs at the same time, we've offered by return service through the lock downs but give us a little time from now on. I should have the Mini Dv camcorder by Friday which hopefully will solve the 'noise' on my Mini Dv tapes and speed up getting them to digital format. Its been great to see many people now going over to digital downloads, it has really picked up the last month, this is the way we see us coping into our old age. Our friend sue left this morning and next time we meet it may be a more relaxed world and we'll be able to go out for a meal. We have a couple of family weddings in the South this summer, I expect we'll get some filming done and aiming for the South West before the kids break up for summer hols. So thinks of Devon and Cornwall lets have a peek back! Comments are closed.
