I used the reserve video camera which is identical to the one which filed but I didn't have time to get all the settings matched and I've had a session this evening getting rid of the many things which block your vision, who would really want a load of info right across the image you are using to shoot with. I got another email from Ida of Topaz re the lack of facility with their apps, she said after getting my next couple of samples that they had never had experience of Video8, laughable really it sounds like it was all invented for modern digital shot film and why would that need further treatment. Wait till they see 9.5mm, 16mm, 32mm etc! I did ok for weather, light cloud throughout but of course mid winter it gets light late and dark early but I think the film will look good. It is strange having a camera not full of scratches, I'll have to get another one lined up in reserve, I'll have a root on Ebay, the last ones were from a college with spare everythings and superb robust carrying case. Tomorrow we hope to see as many of you that can make it to Boyle St, we'll have to be masked up of course but the canteen area is no mask required. We'll have a couple of the bus lucky dip boxes and all stock taken since our pre Corona rally appearances back in 2019. There will be a few extras of historic and local interest for those who prefer an earlier era for their viewing. Shots this evening from Carlisle Comments are closed.
