I seemed to hit the ground running today and it never really stopped , I can't believe we'll be half way through another week when I wake up tomorrow. I've been doing apprentice reviews, training bookings, clearing up questions and material outstanding and then in between trying to progress the French holiday with some success as this evening we have confirmed and requested a contract for the hire of a holiday cottage North East of Montpellier, it all looks to be very new, I think the owners live there so at least we know who we are dealing with, its near the ring road so we'll easily be able to cut down to the Camargue and the motorway to Marseilles for tram and truck filming. It's strange but even Mandy likes the Montpellier trams, I think its because they are so colourful and each livery has a meaning. I've booked the hotel en route at Limoges for catching up on the new trolleys and at Toulouse for the tram which we've missed so far. Its started to pick up with EBay sales as we have reduced the price for a few days, bidding continues on a number of cine films although I've stepped back from all those which are going to fetch silly money with a 50' roll of Hong Kong fetching over £30 for about 8 minutes, I'd want a bit more for my money no matter how good it was, another mixed pot luck batch arrived today a few foreign visits, you never know it may not all be buckets and spades but for £9 its a risk worth taking. It's going to be a big job going through it all, Mandy suggester bringing John Bishop up, he can help label and then take it all home for safe keeping. Trying to avoid the news at present , had enough of the election, I'll probably be firsdt at the polling station on Thursday on my way to work, other than farmers not many get up at that hour in Lower Peover. I'm just burning the DVD master for the Truckfest films taken yesterday, there will be four long running DVDs from the event. I need to get the North East bus DVD covers done as well. I'm provably coming up to needing to list the new releases on Amazon and EBay, what a boring chore that is. I can't see we've a hope in hell of doing the scheduled balloon flight tomorrow due to high wind and possible rain, already postponed from March, perhaps we'll get up at Christmas the way its going. I did do a little more work on the Colombia trip for next January and honing in on particular hotels, hoping for a mix of transport, wildlife and seaside! Next Saturday is the Fenlands rally which I'm filming, heard nothing from them about it so presuming all is as planned, we'll be at Tank Yard at Thorney wherever that is! We are visiting Susan and Graham on our way back, meeting up at a pub near Wellingborough I think. More piccied from yesterday. Comments are closed.
