I've been a busy boy today with lots done, some to be redone and more to do but its nearly time to start dinner and I think Mandy and I have earned a drink. There was the Good Friday service at St Oswalds, both Keith the other warden and I were present, a contemplative service followed by hot cross buns with not a great deal for us to do so we took advantage and got some preparation in for the main Easter service on Sunday. There was a fair turn out as there had been last night for the Maunday service last night, which we followed up with a trip to the Golden Pheasant, had a couple of jars of MPA, we got waylayed by crazy women guest staying there who reckoned she was a faith healer etc, the staff were as pissed off with her as much as we were. The Other Theatre company came in after their performance of Under Milk Wood at the Plumley village hall, all three nights were sold out. Today Mandy took a shirt back to M&S which didn't fit, no surprise there then I don't know why we stick it out, most of my shirts are now from White Stuff. Then she took the faulty John Lewes radio back and not only got it changed but got a grey one to match the present kitchen. I've put titles blocks on the spines of the last couple of years of PMP files with cover masters and the DVD jackets - it all looks very smart and organised. I also finished off the DVD covers for the last couple of film trips and got them all loaded on our shop page. I've also got a few more cine reels copied, a superb one called Freighter by Belgium Maritime line for four 'new' freighters, super traditional ships I guess from the 1960's even 50's perhaps. Its been miserable and wet outside, abandoned any thought of jobs outside. Tomorrow Mandy has her MRI scan at Macclesfield mid afternoon. I've got quite a lot of photo files done and loaded to our Smugmug site from recent film trips.I've also taken the stills off a lot more of the digitised 16mm films so getting near to putting them on EBay. I note that Weebly failed to upload any of the Youtube links from last night so I'll try again. It seems to be working today thank goodness. I'll have more clips on Youtube soon and get more on the new subsciption channel which is still being populated! Comments are closed.
