As usual any attempt with communicating with Google/Youtube brings extreme frustration and annoyance, it's always the same when they operate out of the states, we speak a very different form of the English language to them. Anyway I'm determined that it will get sorted as I'm advertising the service and even get messages to say I have subscribers but not visible when I log in. Today we decided to have a bit of family time and visit another National Trust property, Erdigg near Wrexham which we've visited several times previously. They have always had a superb cake selection in their cafe, this has tumbled away, new super loos they may have but stale boring cakes as well, I went through 3 trying to find something which was fresh. The gardens are better but the whole property has been gentrified way beyond the run down and delightfully eclectic way they received it, protect exhibits yes but display like at Calke Abbey where its done correctly with an element of fun and discovery of musty corners and forgotten treasures. The Vyne near Basingstoke was another we visited this was really fun as they had the roof being renovated and a viewing platform on high accessible even to wheelchairs and sponsorship of new roof tiles which you could write on ( reverse side). We did stop for an hour at Chester to have a quick film of the new bus station and add this to existing film of Wrexham I haven't used yet. A bit of a curates egg good in parts, silly grass roof looks dead, never saw one of the new Wrexham Chester Arriva buses, do they not use the bus station? Lots seen on the road between the two towns. I'm working my way through creating covers for the latest DVDs from Cyprus etc, a slow job. Photos from Chester today then from Erdigg. Comments are closed.
