FULL REPORT ON DETLING AND MUCH MORE

Greetings on this wonderful Sunday afternoon, just finished dinner, cauliflower cheese with bacon and baked potato just nice after a few days of eating out. We were up early on the Thursday and down to London, the weather was far too sunny for early morning shots at Uxbridge so we carried on down to Dover and picked up on the trucks there. The crazy wrong side of a yellow line incident with two cocky young cops and then a really scrumptious ice cream after the worst of the rough sleepers had cleared away. Yes you may well cross Dover off your holiday destination not all that silly as it does have a nice prom and marina and you can watch the ferries in and out. At the moment it is a noisy building site throughout as they are enlarging the marina so lots of weekend sailors can go out straight into one of the world's busiest sea lanes and get cut in half by a passing tanker. Anyway lets start with shots at Dover last Thursday, lots more to come with a survey of vehicles at Detling bus rally yesterday at Maidstone in Kent. The weather was mixed but very little rain, vehicles plentiful and interesting and support from Arriva enormous! It was of course such a pleasure to catch up with friends, customers and fellow traders all of whom go to making this one of the most pleasant rallies in the bus calendar.

Starsky and Hutch, you're the wrong side of a yellow line, ok there isn't one here but there is over there - inspiring policing - it was all too much for them all that excitement in one day!

Detling in the afternoon the weather was much better most of the day though, morte shots tomorrow, busy editing the DVDs! Clips on Youtube as soon as I can.
By the way had a diatribe from South Yorkshire on Youtube, deleted of course but I do know that there are some evil people there and have suffered much in the past such as the mock Youtube site, robbing my identity etc, apologies for the nice people from there but there are some real stinkers about, must be something in the water!
