I've been busy on several fronts, got the DVD orders completed first thing then we went shopping afterwards called at Plumleys cafe near home, the garden centre is now almost half cafe. Poor Bakewell tart though. Anyway lots to do so whats new there then. I had given up on my new cutting mat arriving, it turns out that my careful choice of a UK company was actually another Chinese one taking the slow boat. They have a UK name which is I believe attempt to deceive and illegal. Again not a lot new there, I resolve to avoid Amazon at all costs in future and ask that our customers do the same and purchase through the PMP shop. With Ebay I can just block buyers using it but you can't do that with Amazon. They are complicit with the myriad scams the Chinese work on us through the sales online outlets, can we not make anything here? I'm ready for a 4.30 am start, the 6am fast train but the evening slow coach via Rugby on return.I've mapped out a few places that I've never filmed at subject to feeling safe and know how to link them by bus. I think I'll substitute the elephant for these and still try to get some central London scenes at Victoria and Trafalgar Square, it should be light cloud but now they are hinting as sun late afternoon which is the kiss of death on filming in a large city. Some shots from our visit to Tern Hill yesterday, I was able to get some screen shots for a driver and glad he was well pleased with the results, its hard getting photos of yourself at work. I can't see me doing a blog tomorrow as I don't get to Crewe station until 10pm, a long day yet again. Faced with weeks more unsettled weather we have decided that I'll go south and pick off the spots which Mandy isn't bothered about visiting such as Chatham, Maidstone etc then we can concentrate on Dover trucks and then Canterbury, Folkestone, Hastings, Eastbourne , Brighton together. The South West remains an early target to avoid school holiday season. Comments are closed.
