Another day of variety, got orders cleared and went for hair cut, new chairs for kitchen had arrived 7am so we were well in front. Did shopping at M&S in Ellesmere Port then back to carry on with jobs, more orders to sort. Had catch up with John Bishop in Sussex and had long chat with Roger de Boer re his films I have finished scanning and how he wanted his DVDs. I've tied together the info on Rogers milk float and passed it to my friend Martin Rickitt in Somerset, it is a big restore project and at preset it is a flat bed truck last used as a factory runabout. Similar is at Wythall museum much restored. This all lead me to histories of each entity involved in manufacture, use and re-bodying. I may get out with the camera tomorrow. We are all set for heading off to Gaydon for the classic lorry event over the weekend. I've cleaned the PMP fleet, the van glistens freshly polished. Another 5 years and it can be entered in the HCVC. Still only 52K on the clock. I've got a selection of recent lorry DVDs and a huge stock of ex sales stock at greatly reduced price, why not call in if you are at the show, we'll have a small stand inside the main museum building. The following weekend we shall be at Lathalmond Scottiish bus museum open weekend. After that we may be heading off to Ireland. Now some more shots from the Hampshire trip, I think we have arrived at Bracknell then on to Guildford Comments are closed.
