My East Anglian jaunt finished today, my neck has been hurting quite a lot, looking forwards to giving it a rest and maybe a pint or two at the Crown tonight at home in Lower Peover. The prices will be about 3 times those at Wetherspoons in Kings Lynn, I tried a couple of new ones there the Greene King IPA is under two pounds. A very hot 31C day in South Lincolnshire as I had my first extended look at the roundabout location first attempted last year when the weather collapsed on me. This time it was clear blue sky until lunch time then clouds began to pass over. Some delightful trucks spotted and lots of hoots and toots and lights etc, also made contact with interested drivers who called in for fuel at the petrol station behind me. This provided the lifeline of water and ice cream. The Youtube channel is even worse than July, please start looking in, I know its the hot weather but surely it must be winter in some countries. I will have heaps from this trip, 9 DVDs to come and clips will appear over the weekend. I've had a shower and a good tidy up so feeling a bit better, shaken the dust off me heels from that wretched hole called Norwich, I might write to the tourist board about my experiences but I don't suppose they would care. Contacted the local paper re the incident yesterday, no response, contacted the police on lack of follow up, line went dead, sure going up the creek. Lets start with the trucks today at that epicenter of the east of England where the A17 and A52 meet. |
