A very hard days work starting early this morning with clearing up the tools and paint etc and then putting up the roller blinds, horrific job, slightly but only slightly less difficult were the curtains, ages rubbing off any bits of paint on the tracks. All the furniture is back in and thankfully we'll be back in our own bed as I fell out of the guest bed this morning trying to reach for a tissue about 6.30am, a few sore bits but after the last two months of constant physical work my body seems to be able to withstand a few knocks. We needed new lamp shades to match the new colour so got these in Altrincham this afternoon together with a clock for office 2, I'll have to get one off the net for office 1 as we wat date and month showing on wall clock. New electric extensions installed as well so we don't have to rummage under our bed to plug stuff in. The chap came and fitted the small blinds on office 2 this evening. We had a delivery of yet more bird food. I went to High Leigh garden centre and got some plants to fill in the gaps due to the autumn violas finally expiring this past week, they had miniature roses down to £1.99 so got 8 of these, crazy that will be more scratches and needles in my hands. I managed to get a few more digital downloads on to our shop on this site, all the latest releases are now in DVD but I need to get covers made for those from our South West trip last week. We are hoping to get away filming Wed and Thurs this week and after the flower festival and concert etc at St Oswalds we shall possibly be heading to Ireland and then back with the van packed and ready for the trip down to Alton bus rally, the hiccup is that we are using the tent for the church fete Sunday so need to get that in. I've stock to replenish after the Morecambe rally. Anyway I'd better get cracking as I'm also gardening tomorrow, here is a shot of our St Oswalds 750th gate contribution. I don't think the nasturtiums and sweet peas will flower for a couple of week yet but the roses have grown well. After that some shots from Somerset. Comments are closed.
