Yes I am multi tasking again. A bad start to the day when I got some bullying over the problems on glitiches on latest Youtube uploads which is now thankfully resolved, just a faulty memory stick which has been scrapped, used it for a year no problem, these things happen. Really brasses me off people who don't buy our DVDs and just watch on Youtube then come on giving me grief, of course they never give their identity. These are a hint as to the reasons why I stopped allowing comments on the Youtube channel when I got death threats. Anyway of tracing people now emailing and I will not hesitate to get the authorities involved. I would imagine the culprits are young and I'm nearly 70 and little respect would be expected. Anyway the DVD orders are still streaming in, we will get those already on the sorting table ready to post Monday and keep on top through Sunday as last week it took until 2pm to get them done. I hope to be out with the camera this coming week, probably lorries. In between uploading clips for Youtube In carried on with construction of the bus stop kits which are just about identical to those at Wrexham old bus station although it had a slight height adjustment half way as a kind of step, I might recreate this at least it will be based on something almost specific. The bay number was on a cube above the platform, I've ordered some 5mm dice from China, £2.50 post free, l little alteration and they will be great as other than the number they are 'spot' on, excuse the pun- I thought it rather good. They will need painting concrete with weathering. The running surface will be concrete and ditto the pathways. The lay by area, damp oil perhaps! The other thing today was to start downloading and identifying the latest cine collection from the OTA, its Denis Battams work. Superb in places just a bit modern, it gets going into its stride mid 1970s although there is a couple a reels British steam before closure. There are nice early Seaton tram days, lots of London Brighton commercial runs, Derby Day buses services, all manner of preserved and miniature steam railways plus a few of buses in service. There are about 48 reels, plus I've material from John Bishop and robin Hannay to get through. Never a dull moment here. Comments are closed.
