I had boost on the office heater for much of the day the temperature seems to be falling back after just yesterday as a respite in this chilly month of May. This evening I continued with my weeding and grass pulling in the back borders, the recycle bin is now overflowing until it is emptied on Thursday. The lillies look fine and strong, the bedding in the greenhouse is also looking fir. Last night we had our long term fox visit but no hedgehogs. I spent quite a lot of time trying to sort out the accomodation in Colombia for next February, it's still peak season there especially for Canadians, lots of conferences as well. Anyway the flights are all booked we go Lufthansa via Frankfurt, fingers crossed last time we transited there they lost all our suitcases, German efficiency they don't just lose the odd one, just the whole lot. I got the covers for the Fenlands and Peterborough rallies done last night and listed on our shop page, the first copies have already gone out. My main focus this week regarding the DVDs is to get the Scottish social material done and dusted, I'm on the three trips Pewter Gascogne did with his club in the 1970s, a mix of tourist , scenic and buses. The others will be more soliodly scenic, street scenes etc. A trickle of orders via net and post today, not much arriving by way of new cine but the new Hungarian trolleybus should be with us in a few days I hope I get another crack at the artic bus, I only saw that once for sale and at quite a hefty price, that's three overseas ones the Atlas have produced in 1/72 scale. I've also got a lot of photos trimmed up ready to file, with luck I minght get some uploaded this week. If the weather Wednesday lives up to promise I'll make the most of it with a bus film trip in Cheshire. This coming weekend sees me in Derby and Stoke and of course on Sunday it's the OPPS rally at the Brittania Stadium in Stoke, numbers quickly picking up after the move from the Wedgwood centre , the stadium has good transport links and plenty of space, refreshments, toilets all on site and even if you all want to spend a penny they can cope with the football crowds then they can cope with bus enthusiasts. Why not come along and say hello, we are sponsoring the show for the umpteenth time! Comments are closed.
