Time seems to be pouring away from me, the to do list seems ever longer. I have managed to finish editing last weeks bus DVDs and I'll put them on the shop this evening. The DVD sales were very good again this morning but not so demanding as the giant post bag on Thursday. Although DVD sales are booming the Youtube channel has gone a bit quiet considering the huge response during the past three months or so. I will try putting some more lorry film and as I pursue the PMP Christmas special that should give me opportunities for putting clips on. There also seems to have been a lot of other 'stuff' going on and if I see another begging email or letter in the post, don't they realise that every charitable organisation is having a tough time and its the same everywhere. Mandy and I are trying to get the next Polio Fellowship branch newsletter out, Mandy has been phoning around and getting any gossip then we await the minutes from the Zoomed BPF AGM last Saturday, how can it be a whole week later now. The remembrance ceremony at St Oswalds church on Sunday will of necessity be a short outside service with limited numbers which of course reflects the national and local occasions around the country. I am working my way through the concrete bus stop kits I got, amazing the laser cut parts, hard to imagine the fineness achieved. They should all look really well on the layout. I'll get them finished and see how the model bus station can be fitted to the space available. I did actually finish bar touching up the edges etc the Superquick back of terraced row of houses, with final decoration it isn't half as bad as it looked at one stage although it took longer to make than the rolls royce Metcalfe kit of similar. I'l a downloaded kit to print for comparison, this goes to the extent of interior decoration! I have ordered up a kit of weathering powders to make everything get a patina of wear and tear. When i get the bare bones of the initial diorama section I can then enjoy adding the final flourishes. I've Comments are closed.
