Today a blitz on saving dozens of films downloading from old VHS videos to digital and putting them on file ready to be enhanced up the HD standard at 60 fps. They will also be enhanced for the actual image removing any 'noise' . They will all need entering on the PMP Archive database by locations. This will result in a flurry of new releases at some time in the future as we absorb this huge influx of material saved for posterity. There are also early PMP films from the 1980s which have now been digitised, we can see what wonders AI will work on them. The PMP landline is still out of service but should be back on next Wednesday at the latest as we are reverting to BT after the disaster with Talk UK which I would avoid at all costs in future. BT is terrible but they do have the advantage of open access to Open Reach the ones who service all the BT landlines and without that you are reliant on third parties excuses and cannot access Open Reach directly at all. We did a bit of shopping, horrific traffic out there today, Tesco have now huge cardboard photo fold ups which slot into empty shelf areas where there don't have any products and make it seem less empty, M&S are also similar. There is obviously still a huge shortage of many products and M&S have dropped many popular lines plus play pop music in the tannoys which I hate. I wish there was an upmarket store which replaced M&S who have lost the plot. Some Irish lorry shots from last week, trailers for all recent DVDs on Youtube and the channel is picking up views again.
