who is ont really is turning ouyt to be a nightmare year for health issues. The rain was hammering down this afternoon but Mandy wanted to go to Whitestuff shop in Chester as they had 20% off for one day only but I needed to get some grass seed to repair the front lawn so I was about to get into my little car and Mandy into hers, next thing she is on the driveway in the wet and me shirt alongside which she was taking to ensure the right sizing. She managed to get into her car and insisted on going out so we ended up heading for Whitestuff in Wilmslow which is nearer but when we got there it had closed down so battled through the horrendous traffic to St Annes Square in the centre of Manchester when finally Mandy admits she can;'t get out of the car or stand. So back in and all the way back to Macclesfield hospital for a few hours in A&E, a narrow winner over Leighton hospital as Macc has free disabled parking near casualty. Waited a reasonable amount of hours then examined then another wait then xray and another wait then reexamined with xray. No fracture revealed but there is a growth of sorts showing up, groundhog day or what we've just been through all this with Mandy's growth on her lung revealed by the chest xray, appointment to come back to fracture clinic and consultant to scratch their head about the round object. We'd gone out and left all the machines on so dived back in and then carried on round to The Crown , had dinner and a couple of jars there, felt better for some food having just had our two diet days. We met John and Tabatha there, we'd talked last week in the Crown, they are new neighbours in the houses recently built on a tiny plot of land on the corner of the road. As soon as Mandy isd more mobile we've invited them round one night, meanwhile we met Louise who is on the parish council and she who got the hedges cut back off the pavements, she was aware that the developers had been using our small road as an entrance to the new development on the adjacent green field , planning said they must enter from the Middlewich A road, so everyone is going to complain to the main council tomorrow although we have to be up early as Mandy has appointment at Leighton hospital for stents to be removed from her tear duct operation, then pick up my new specs at Ellesmere port etc etc, yes a fun time but I did get a letter to Alan Millar at Buses magazine about the new PMP digital downloads and my ideas on archives plus got a few more films on DVD and made a start on the next Bus Spot Ultra covering Leicester, phew other than that not a lit!! Photos from my Wolverhampton visit the other day before the monsoons set in. Comments are closed.
