We were woken about 3.45 am by a phone call which went dead when we managed to switch on lights and answer, we both had a restless night after this. It was a day for getting chores done in the morning. The latest transfer of film data to our new super external drive had another 24 hours to go so no more work done on the latest DVDs which I'll get finished on Friday together with the covers whixch I might start tonight. We took the post bags around to Lawrence and then headed off to Ellesmere Port, first job getting a hair cut , all ready for Christmas now on that score. Then on to the pet shop to get a ig stock of wild bird foods in as we had run out of almost everything. Then onto M&S where we met up with one of our PMP customers in the lift, we had lunch there, did some food shopping and some wine including yet another Priorat wine where our good friend Albert has a vineyard, the marque is widely becoming available in the UK although not everything is best quality as there is a glut of lesser vintages. Then it was time for the Polio Fellowship meeting at the old Shell club in the Port and then home. I've dropped round some tickets and posters to George and Noreen, fellow fund raisers for our Bangers, Beans and Bingo night in Jsanuary and on the way put up posters on the village notice board, Lawrence already has them on the counter! Then more 16mm film editing which goes on in the background virtually all the time, getting them listed on EBay after editing will release cash for our 2017 adventures ( we hope). Tonights photos from my trip to Shropshire yesterday, starting in Shrewsbury. That leaves me Telford for tomorrow. Friday is more shopping, present for kids via Salvation Army to purchase plus remainder of presents and booze to take down to Hampshire at Christmas. Other jobs include two Christmas trees to deck out inside and outside. Cards starting to gather pace and filling several shelves etc. Comments are closed.
