I managed as promised to get a lot of clips associated with the Christmas Special DVD released yesterday loaded on to Youtube, there will be a few more in this batch to come possibly tomorrow. Several feature Hong Kong hence tonights picture remembering CMB. I've been gathering together a whole wealth of freshly HD scanned cine film derived archives and can tell you that in addition to Down Your Way South Yorkshire there will be a similar one on London and another covering Sussex. A Tickety Boo production stand alone volume will look at all the Portuguese trolleybus systems and include trams and buses. There will be more but I must concentrate on getting these ready as we feel sure they will be on many Christmas want lists. I also managed to complete the annual newsletter which goes out with our Christmas cards. This year we stay with Rothbury and the PMP release is nice and cheerful with a bus and a lorry. I'll put the news letter on the front page and on the whats happening page which probably needs updating. I need to get the current batch of scanned films filed and in the data base, some you won't have seen for decades back in the early transfer of cine to video. I have also been busy fitting in a little modelling for the diorama and now realise that all the kits I have purchased will easily full more than the allotted space for the scene I'm working on, sound familiar? In between all this we have ongoing battles with the council and our complaints against discrimination of people with disabilities, not helped by having the most vocal anti person as MP , she was also one of those who voted against a second lock down to try and control the pandemic. Esther McVey is an objectionable gobbie bitch somewhere to the right of Attila the Hun. Anyway we are also having to do our blood pressure readings after our annual review at Holmes Chapel Health centre, mine isn't that bad but Mandy's has gone through the roof. The constant drip drip of appeals for cash keeps coming in all directions despite several being in receipt of substantial standing order donations . We are still busy with the DVDs but the downside is Youtube where viewing is down to 33% of peak in the summer and thus the revenue from advertising is much weaker, it all balances out and it is hard to get your cake and eat it ( especially so at present as we are trying to get my glucose reading in my blood down). Anyway in case it is of interest I'll insert our Christmas letter, if you are a regular you will have seen and heard it all before.
