Hi folks its Thursday so its pub night except its last Thursday of the month which at the Golden Pheasant means quiz night, get the garlic out and cross yourself, the plague which hit Plumley carries on and ruins our one and only pleasant night of rest in the week. Many's Jazz is already pretty full with the stock for the Dublin Port Rally this coming Sunday, remember this really is your last chance to shout if you want us to bring any DVDs along which are not Irish as we are restricted with space in the car to thousands of photos and dozens of DVDs but just a tiny portion of our sales. Actually the van is also packed and that is ready for Bridgeton in Glasgow when we get back from Sri Lanka. Martin emailed today, I think we will both be making the very best of our driver and minibus on this trip neither of us being that well empowered on the leg front. The rest of the stock is piled up in the garage, anyone requiring earlier DVDs to pick up at Bridgeton also needs to give prior notice. The Scottish stock is 100% of all our releases covering Scotland and we've topped up especially on Glasgow and the earlier archive material plus all the exciting goings on this year. This will be our forth trip up this year so no complaints out there but Ireland rather lanquishes in the wings, perhaps I'll be able to get a few views when we go over before Christmas to see friends Hil and Sean in South Tipperary. Just had the call for dinner. I've ordered up another couple of the Atlas buses, I've duplicated one order but I expect I'll be able to pass it on hopefully at a profit. Most of my packing is by the case, a trial run coming up later to see how the weight is going. I've been out on one of our sites day, not too far from home but although visit was going to be relatively short, safety tour, see apprentices etc and take some shots of them working it actually took me hours to get in, I was eraly but then we waited nearly an hour for a chap from Germany to arrive to participate in the induction which was the full lengthy one rather than the 15 mins usually given to visitors thus it was afternoon when I'd done, called back home for a brew as I live on the route back more or less then a quick flurry of activity trying to clear the 'desk' ready for my hols. I'll leave you with more from our recent Youtube uploads. One more blog tomorrow then its blogs en route as and when I can. Weather here cloudy and muggy, Sri Lanka cloud, sun, thunder, hot, hot muggy, sweat etc! Comments are closed.
