The day started well other than the continued autumnal weather and as well as getting prepared for my visit to Darlington tomorrow and lots of training requests sorted and some documentation for offshore tweaked it then went down in the afternoon. I did manage to shoot out and get my hair trimmed and some sunflower kernals for the bird feeders. The tale of the booked and almost immediately cancelled lOT Polish flight to Moldova went from worse to worse, LOT are pretty rubbish, Martin Rickitt had booked direct thinking at least there would be better communication but he has still received no notice from them, it would be fine if he had waited until a day before to log in and get boarding cards at least I was able to pint out if not solve the problem. When I rang this afternoon LOT gave ke the run around and took about 15 minutes to answer the phone which was the warm up act for Opodo who not only are rude but very dismissive and it takes two working days to issue a credit why when it takes a few seconds on our credit card machine at PMP, all they want is your money and accept no responsibility for what they sell, they didn't even stay on long enough to look or even promote alternative flights from them. In the end I went direct to Ukraine I A and this took only seconds and hopefully will fly only problem is that its from Gatwick and I'd booked a hotel at Heathrow with Booking.com which I use as you can cancel them but this time you can't and it's Hilton who are more rude than Opodo and LOT put together. Back to Premier Inn and Whitbread who invented bad service but better the devil you know sometimes and with Travelodge snapping at their heels now perhaps they will have to learn about service as well a lesson learnt by Ryanair whose profits soared after they decided to take care of passengers rather than slag them off. I got the last of the recent shooting sessions on DVD with clips from Kirkby on youtube, back to the Scottish archives next perhaps and I may get time tomorrow for something along the way. I lost out on EBay bidding for another bus yet another rare one from the Hungarian collection, I also noted that there is a Liaz and ZIU trolleybus on EBay by Techno Park in Russia. Here are covers for recent releases, everything is on our shop and tomorrow a sale starts on EBay. Comments are closed.
