I don't think the weather will ever be suitable for filming this week so it was a good thing I'd three archives ready to edit, just one on the underground stock on the Isle of Wight and then hopefully I'll get something at Wythall Midland Red running day on Sunday. I've put a few things on EBay as we try to de clutter the house a bit in preparation for the new carpets although Lewis's rang yet again and have changed the bedroom carpet installation for the third time, thankfully that doesn't impact on my hospital hernia operation. I certainly don't like the temperature tumbling, really got an autumn feel about it now. We have got quite a few household and family tasks done today which bites into editing time. The clip I gave the treatment to on the new AI software worked well enough but really you can't pick a grotty film and make it that much better. I'll watch the introduction videos again now I've got a feel for how it works and what it can and cannot do. It certainly takes forever doing it, 8 minutes took 13 hours. I'm going to use the treated clips on Youtube, they'll be filed digitally and ready but doing an hours tape full might tie my editing deck up for a week. As soon as I get the covers done for the latest archive DVDs I'll get them on the shop. Meanwhile some more from the trip last week prior to Showbus, this is Luton. Comments are closed.
