don't think we had any April fools stunts at church today but who knows, its good that some people challenge things and this evening at Messy Church little James all of 10 mounted a vigorous argument on the divinity of Jesus based on the limited Cosmos that God seems to address rather than speak of the millions or billions of solar systems in space. I'm sure James will make an onerous opponent in school debating of politics when he is older although he did also favour direct action against most other activities this afternoon. It was a first at St Oswalds to have the smaller children doing crafts during the service including during Communion, it was also humbling to be there playing with them as a church warden in a changing world. We had two baptisms after the main 11am service with us all regrouping at Over Peover at about 3.30.I can't say any of our Easter eggs hold any attraction hav ing been dishing them out all day and taking a few myself., ok a lot myself.I think we are bracing ourselves for a snowy Monday, perhaps wet at home but certainly snow on the Trans Pennine routes. Some snowy scenes perhaps on Tuesday. We now have our schedule for the Detling trip, calling in on Thursday at Uxbridge and Tunbridge Wells then on to overnight at Maidstone and then Friday trucks at Dover all day, Detling show on Saturday then home. I hope to get the USA tram films finished tomorrow, featuring our 1992 footage on video 8 format. Quite a lot of DVD orders have come in over the weekend, all will go off when normal life resumes on Tuesday. I had an email from Martin Rickii today who is being held in hospital over the weekend due to absence of anyone who can dismiss him. The operation on his foot seems to have gone fine but he doubts if he'll be able to make Russia with me. There are so many new trams and trolleys since I was last in St Petersburg and moreso Moscow, we've waited years to get this coverage, fingers crossed that the tension doesn't escalate any higher, if foreign office advice rises to don't go I'll adopt an alternative programme elsewhere. Here are some ex USSR region photos taken over the years. Comments are closed.
