Do you know the sort of day, you've worked hard, got loads of things done but there still seem to be more jobs and the energy is starting to run out. It's gone 8pm and I've just had dinner and and sit for 10 minutes, hopefully Emers has recorded ( it didn't) and I can have an hour before bed relaxing although I rather doubt if it will happen. The weather really perked up today and we had some sun so I took a lunch break a rarity really and went to Chester. I managed to get my favourite free slot for my little car and just a couple of minutes walk from the site of what will be the new transport interchange in Chester, well the new bus station as it isn't near anything else other than the canal, I guess local services will still come through the city centre a bit but it remains to be seen how enthusiast friendly the layout will be, it's on the site of the car park near the fire station by the dual carriageway and now has signs up for the development, old building around now have shutters up as these fringes of Chester get modernised out of keeping with the character of the old city and really hide the charms it will unfold if anyone bothers to look when its all modern offices, hotels and flats. When the municipal buses went it looked as if it would be boring but now with the big players Arriva and Stagecoach they are also surrounded by a host of smaller operators in many liveries and many types of vehicle so its almost if not better than neighbour Wrexham down the road on Route 1. It was quite busy at work but I did manage to get the remainder of the photos trimmed up ready to file and they are all here with me on a memory stick waiting to get uploaded before I lose them or something stupid happens like my coffee going all over them. I must remember to get Tom Lloyd a get well card and something for the children to cheer them up, hopefully Tom will be home this weekend after his heart attack and amazing rescue and swift recovery, perhaps Jane's spirituality has a direct line to the boss upstairs she certainly has the passion and it saw my sister Susan through a broken back and fractured skull. No time to Skype Max and Tina in New Zealand but I hope that Tina is continuing rto recover from the new hip. Two different foxes last night plus several sightings of hedgehogs put more food down after I'd got home headed down to Lowe's farm shop in the van and topped up with the final batch of bedding plants and a centre piece fuischia. I managed to get the centre bed done, finished the side border by the path, did the pots and rear borders around the roses and under the acer tree which i also trimmed. Then I watered everything and packed my little car with everything I need to do the business down at the family greaves at Southern Cemetery tomorrow before it gets too busy. Still bot sure what I'll do on Saturday , Sunday is the AEC rally at Newark showground. I also packed up the van with the last bits and pieces I needed for the rally. Birds have done their business over my little IQ but the van seems relatively untouched. Some more cine film arrived plus the new battery charger which seems a bvit more solid and bigger and indicates the amount of charge pluy has a car lighter lead. The second Scottish vsocial film is ready to burn this evening if I get time plus downloading Chester and then of course there are the DVD orders to get ready to post. Photos Chester this lunch time. The destination for July looks like being Moldova. Comments are closed.
