another quiet day on the net but not so at work where we had training ongoing, I did a safety tour, I received a months worth of training documentation from Aberdeen , wrote up the reports on the interviews yesterday etc etc plus looked up Intra Express to see if anything was listed for next year as I'd heard Thomas was giving it up but there are quickies to Hungary and Switzerland plus an extensive Canada and East Coast US tour which is something i would like to do but too long anyway as usual they come highly recommended if groups are your thing. I managed to do just a little on the West Yorkshire cine archive sound last night and will get a bit more done tonight before we head off down to the pub. Its been yet another bright dry day although I'm not too concerned as little by way of filming opportunities are likely in the next few days. Saturday we get jobs cleared at home including loading last bits for Boyle St in December and then down to Cannock and then to Birmingham and WNO at the Hippodrome with William Tell and then after a nice lay in off to Ludlow on Sunday. I hope to be tucking in to the West Midland video archive next week and once the films are loaded it usually rolls off like a production line, I still have Dave Cole's amazingly early West Midlands video to start of with and my own efforts started in 1989 so lots to look forward to. It looks as if we won't be able to get to get to Ireland as Hil and Sean are having some building work done and that's the only time they can get it done. I will certainly be visiting Ireland next year although our favourite photo spot has gone at the end of the N7 near the Luas terminus with a massive flyover, any tips on good spots for photography of trucks in Ireland are very welcome. With the reshufflle on weekends then it looks as if we may be able to get down to Sussex and visit friends and relations. When the weather looks settled I want to cover trucks and buses in Belfast again it was so enjoyable there lasst year and hoping for a repeat of the sun sunny weather. Im going to get a calendar for work and enter up next years hols etc and try to get the rally chart sorted out, expect some changes in our schedule although Herne Bay, Lathalmond and Bridgeton are set in stone as are the two Boyle St events at Manchester other than that it's wide open. A nice little Prague 1/72 scale fire engine arrived from China, bargain on EBay and I managed to secure one of the Chile trolleybuses for a sensible price from Peru. What shall we have, lets keep it simple, recent DVD releases, how about I put the latest on Amazon!A few new models announced for EFE Cork TD1, Crosville VR and a new North Western Renown which should all be joining the ever expanding PMP shelves.
