A very wet Saturday , it's like mid winter, dark at 5pm. I had a church wardens training course near Northwich at Lostock Gralam which isn't that far but I went to Church House at Daresbury then realised my mistake but wasn't late and it wasn't much of a detour, if it were a weekday it would have meant lost hours. I got the last of the recent bus DVD material ready, Bath and Swindon and have just uploaded trailer on Youtube, surely this is the weather to be indoors watching our fabulous range of bus and lorry trailers for the PMP DVD selection, thousands of fan based programmes with coverage from most regions of the world. Tomorrow is a long day at I'm supporting vicar Jane once more at the 8am service and then it's harvest festival and a harvest supper aka tea and cakes at 5pm followed by evensong. I did the remainder of reading I needed to complete before tackling my first written assignments for the ministry course that probably leaves me starting the work when Mandy goes off to Ireland next Saturday although during the day I've a day's event in Sale, Manchester with Jane on 'messy church'. Anyway that timetable gives me a week and a half to complete and submit well within the allocated schedule. I'll probably carry on through the folder of material which links to our Monday sessions at Chester. I'll be keeping my eyes on the weather for any openings for filming in the coming week, lots of possible destinations just need the conditions. When I got back today I made a start on getting the garden ready for winter with all the violas and bulbs in the length of our side path, probably the biggest area although it started to bucket it down and I got drenched and dirt, now showered and in my dressing gown, not getting dressed again tonight, ready for a drink soon, not tea! The stats on Youtube are still not brilliant, I wish I knew what had an impact on it so we could address it but I've loaded loads on this past week, it's a shame that Google pulled the plug on the subscription channels just as I'd got ours up and running but guess they call the shots and I am but a tiny minnow although we did sail past 36M hits on our channel last week and just about touching 20k subscribers. I'm also getting some photos sorted ready to filer, thousands in the pipeline but then few people ever seem to bother with our Smugmug sire despite all the supposed interest.Photos from Australia to mind me of warm weather!
