The great day of two film shows which follows on from the well received but traumatic presentation in Sussex last month. The show at the Polio Fellowship saw a small attendance more i suspect due to ill health rather than dread of the films but we were once again dogged buy icons appearing on screen which we couldn't get rid of, actually we did have it all running fine then when we tried to get it to the right start point it appeared again and that was it all the way through. Somebody must know how to avoid this but when i ask people just give me blank lost looks. Other than that it was a pleasant if busy day, got DVD orders away, still quiet this week. I got my hair trimmed while we were in Ellesmere Port and did some M&S shopping , biscuits for the Polio Fellowship meeting etc.
Time just seemed to run away and we are having a quick beans on toast for tea then off to Plumley village hall for the dreaded fund raising show, I am not at all looking forwards to it as the last two shows have been frankly depressing and I hate not knowing the answers to these technical glitches and why last year did we not suffer from them albeiot using the same kit. Tomorrow I'll get orders done, start my next course essay and have meeting in afternoon with Vicar Jane and then we are out Saturday at Clonter opera and lots of events coming up as we hurtle towards Christmas, all the shops launched their Christmas adverts on the soaps last night. Must go fingers crossed. Comments are closed.
