The weather was quite foul today with a bitter wind whipping up the cold frost first thing, we were up early as the electrician was coming to fix the flood light on the back garden, he was here for quite a while. Mandy had to nip along to the surgery to have a blood test. Thankfully the new high grade anti- hestimine tablets seem to be clearing the allergic reaction up and Mandy is looking a lot better with the swelling down and rashes almost vanished. We had a really good meal at The Dog in Nether Peover last night with Rosie and Barry, they were helping us with some hints on collecting for charity, Barry was prime fund raiser for the local cancer treatment hospital for some year and Rosie has also spent a lot of time and effort, we are of course looking at ways of raising cash for the local Polio Fellowship plus there is the local fund raising in Lower Peover for St Oswalds toilet, he is getting uncomfortable after 800 years waiting for a pee. The Dog really did us proud again last night with real Cheshire ales and scrumptious food, that brings us down to earth as tonight we are back at The Pheasant for our Thursday night out, half price food is required to get punters in there, John Lees brewery don't exactly encourage fine dining experiences although the setting is great and staff friendly as ever. We went to see Trish and Derek at Sale this afternoon, had two lots of Christmas cake for lunch and afternoon tea. WE did shopping and banking, I had to cough up for the China trip in May which was a bit painful. The projector lamp has gone on the Super8 sound machine but the chap over in Cleethorpes is sending a couple over ( I hope). Meanwhile I'm downloading the films I've got on tape and as usual selling cine via Ebay and loading clips on Youtube. The little Eumig projector does Super 8 as well as standard 8 but nowhere near as good as the big fellow John has passed on to me. I got the spare batteries for the new still camera, I've not even set the date and location stuff let alone find out how it is different from the G12 which does differ! Clips from the lates films as loaded to Youtube, please click on adverts when they come up. Comments are closed.
