My plea for more effort on Youtube clicks and hits seemed to have paid off before I wrote it, this is due to the stats always being a few days behind so on a Sunday your are looking at Friday at best. So thats quite healthy although real time figures indicate that Mothers Day may have shown it's toll at the back of the weekend. Today I've been very busy despite my back which is now making me very tired, worst time seems to be about lunch time early afternoon. I got all the rally DVD sales stock updated plus recycled some early numbered plastic boxes, ie they can't all fit in the van so you'll find these golden oldies at £5 each at rally events. We are hoping the limited number of events we attend will do better as people will only be able to see us less frequently or they'll have ordered online. I realise a lot of people don't like doing that but it's hard going against the trends. I finished my work on the wet room yesterday, everything seemed to work fine this morning, no leaks! I also managed to get the proposal for my last substantial course assignment submitted, I've got until April to get it finished but as it involves reading two whole books as well as other reference material it's going to be a long job. I got all the DVD orders away in the post this morning. Mandy gets back about 7.30pm and then has a taxi booked as I'll be at Chester University on my course, we've Bishop Keith tonight so it would blot my copy book to give it a miss although the way my back felt earlier on I would have gladly gone to bed instead. Despite the pain yesterday I think my delivery of the Mothering Sunday prayers went well, as my oppo Keith ( not Bishop Keith ) said you could tell I had written it, I don't think I prayed for revolution or Jez to get in but maybe I did, it's the pills you know. I've loaded a really good set of 8 clips on Youtube, takes you back to the great Yorkshire drought and the enormous tanker job bringing water to one of out wettest counties, they built a pipeline from the large Kielder Water reservoir and by the time it was ready to open the rain started again. There are also shots on the M6 and at Runcorn, it really looks vintage now, well its nearly a quarter of a century back, frightening as I think of it as yesterday, mind you I do that with the 1950's. I've a couple of hours before I need to leave, we have a job getting the fuel changed at St Oswalds they delivered Kerozine instead of Gas Oil and it doesn't work well at all, in facts the boiler is now kaput. They have to get an outfit along to pump the wrong stuff out then replace and bled through the system until all traces of the wrong fuel are eliminated. On our account card it states Gas Oil only.I'll work on the basis of staying home tomorrow, I'm sure Mandy will need some help with shopping etc. Then it looks fair for Wednesday and Thursday. Friday I have my ministry meeting with vicar Jane so don't go too far away. The Bus Spot Ultra series seems to be selling well, I'm thinking of one on Maidstone. So lets travel there for the slide show. Comments are closed.
