I have to chuckle when somebody has taken the trouble to seek out and watch a clip of buses or lorries and then makes a comment declaring it boring, if you ever then take the bother of looking at their sites you of course find that their own content is not created just copied and usually reveals the mind of an ant crawling around a computer game usually featuring people being hacked to death. I'm quite grateful if they leave our channel and go elsewhere and annoy somebody else. Talking of which it was very pleasant today to be back filming the trucks at Penrith, a spot I've used now for many years and it was always convenient as we had an office in the North East when I had a 'day' job and could stop off there, we also used it as an exchange point midway between Ellesmere Port and Teesside to send up kit that was required urgently, I had all sorts of stuff in my estate cars, now I have just my little Toyota IQ which does 70mpg and costs little to run. Anyway the point was that I was there with nothing but the super lads and lasses on the wagons, all waving, flashing, tooting plus the cheery people at the fire station nearby. This past week I'd had hassle at Leicester, Warrington and St Helens filming buses, trucks make for a relaxing diversion and none go putting things in front of their faces, ever- what is it about the occasional bus driver that thinks driving blind with a bus load of people is acceptable behaviour, any comment Arriva? I know Stagecoach take such concerns very seriously when reported, the worst must be the ramshackle Diamond outfit who couldn't give a damn about anyone. The weather was very warm for the time of year, it was super to get the sun on my back. The sun was out to start with then it was a cat and mouse game although before I finished up around 1.30pm it did come out again and was about 19 degrees, it was warmer than that through Lancashire with nearly full sunshine all the way back down to the traffic chaos which passes for Cheshire roads, M6 blocked Sandbach, M6 north blocked Lymm, queues all over the place trying to avoid the delays and causing choas on local roads but thats normal for our neck of the woods. Wasn't it good yesterday at the Labour party conference, great to see confidence in a socialist agenda, I hope we never have to suffer another Tory mess in my life, each time they produce a bigger clown than the previous, Cameroons went off the cliff and May tumbled into the seat bemused and croaking like she was the she wolf Thatcher. Its my course studying module at Church House at Daresbury this evening, another extra stint next week. Nice crowd there, a very mixed group in most respects which is a result as that is what they try to get so you can chat over various perspectives of the Church of England, left alone with ours to consider I'd think we would all need to take up self defence classes. Photos tonight from Warrington yesterday, clips on Youtube later. I almost got enough at St Helens for a programme before it rained, I'll try and finish it next week, loads on the to do list which is in the news section. Tomorrow we are hoping to get to Southern Cemetary and tidy up the family graves, I'll get the bird feeders topped up in the morning and get the kit out ready for the afternoon as Mandy is out for coffee in the morning. I also need to get photos filed from last couple of week. Comments are closed.
