There can't be that many places where you get such an eclectic mix of subjects but there you have it all over the grass front and back, looked it up on the wildlife sites and the droppings are from our hedgehogs, we must have a herd of them or one has a very loose bowel movement and of course with all the feeding including the special hedgehog feed they are getting a full belly, Mandy reckons we need to cut back or they'll end up on statins like me. So tonight when I got home from work I mowed all the lawns and after being scorched and looking as it were dieing the from is full of lawn stripes once more and the back lawn also looks a bit of a treat again. Of course it's Lathalmond this weekend, Mandy went and fuelled up the van and then had to do a swift stop and upset the load, got that sorted, put in all the latest stock for Scotland and then a few extras like our surplus sales stock which goes for just 25p a photo and £8 for DVDs. The Scottish stock will all be at Lathalmond for Saturday, I may be off filming if it isn't too awful, Fife was my idea but it could be rough weather, also Dundee could do with coverage and Falkirk is always a popular location lets see how I feel on the day./ I've also had time to call at Lymm Poplar truck services and rattled of just over an hour of film, the weather has been very mixed between cloud, sun, rain and whatever and looks set to stay that way. I've started to get updates on the latest Japanese tram films and I'll keep the process going for a while but mean time I'll get cracking with the next area for English bus archive film which could well be Shropshire which has quite a good enthusiast base. I feel obliged to get rid of the worst typos now as the spell check still keeps showing up my bloomers. Tonight the truck fans are in for a treat with scenes at lymm today. Coming up this year for them could well be Sri Lanka, Cuba, Malta, and if there is a good day at all even Belfast where I really enjoyed filming last year. It's a shame that I'll miss the Dublin Port rally, if it becomes a regular feature we'll build it into next years schedule. We've had a cracking good dinner, Chorizo with olives and mixed pasta with sauce and parmesan, yummy. So all set then for the weekend and not sure if I'll be able to blog, perhaps there is a connection at Pat and Normans I can use as I'm sure their son must have internet wi fi. It was a bit of a chew at work, this morning everything that could go wrong seemed to but hopefully by the time I get away tomorrow it will all be sorted, got an audit on Monday though which isn't exactly my idea of a fun start to a new week. I got my works pension statement today, it doesn't seem to bad if I add it to the enhanced new state pension and then you don't have to pay national insurance so even without work we won't exactly be on the bread line!
