The tread wheel never stops and today was no different as I was up at 5.45 am ready to head of over the M62 motorway through the dense morning traffic to Halifax. I was already in a crawling queue half way across the hills and then after the Halifax turn off it was snails pace as there were road works by the bus depot. It was interesting to get there early enough to capture the school buses, I caught quite a few on film and video, the still shots are all already filed and I'll upload them straight to the Mug mug site see links page tonight remember you can purchase them now from the day they were taken in most cases so don't forget to make our photo sales pages your first port of call for prints at just 50p for 6x4 size. I had hassles with a chav family in Halifax who leapt from behind me to jump in front of the camera, I thought I was being attacked, they then started to splash water towards me, here are the culprits, actually if we are sending people back where they came from I would suggest these are sent down a worm hole. Yes the best of Halifax, you can see the coke or whatever flying towards me, the woman has a ring through her nose, hoody comes to complete the assemble, there were another two of them it was hard to figure out their gender or relationship, I had a witness a traffic warden a couple of PCSO's went off to find them and have words. Other than that it was as ever a pleasant visit to Halifax, I think I've mastered getting optimum exposure and speed with manual settings on the video, the photos required an ISO of a 1000. After Halifax I didn't feel like lingering, I was going to go to M&S for morning coffee but instead headed on to Bradford, started at the bus station and finished off there as well, lots of bus variety set against a backdrop of sirens sounding everywhere, never seen so many police cars about. Other than that it was a more pleasant visit than it had been to Halifax. Satisfying to know that Yorkshire retains the crown for being the most violent county I've ever encountered. I thought the photos came out very well in such poor early morning light 7.45 onwards. Comments are closed.
