A bit tired, up at 5am for our jaunt down to Swindon and Bath. The weather outlook was light cloud which turned out to be sunny with a few clouds which mid November at Swindon wasn't the best for film work and it took all morning to get the required footage anyway did it in the end. Mandy was in the Outlet village at least it was somewhere warm and I got a couple of jumpers from her shopping. Then it was on to Bath, I was worried that the light would beat me but it wasn't too bad and the bus activity was quite frantic. Neither location had anything new to offer but that seems to be the story nearly everywhere we go, the good news is that we are steadily getting through the to do list for this year. Bath was very interesting, the sun didn't give in but as it was very low and isnt a bad direction for the location by the bus station I think that all will be well, certainly lots of interest, many First buses still in the old livery but then other are in about 10 different colour schemes. We are hoping to cover York and Harrogate this Thursday and possibly the docks at Liverpool on Friday. Tomorrow I'll crack on with finishing the Bus Spot Ultra Hastings and then I'll have five more bus DVDs to edit and six covers to make. The DVD printer ink came today, I'll try and get Epson to take responsibility for their overpriced and oft faulty cartridges, just good that I didn't attempt to open the plastic wrapper or I will be coloured Magenta all week. I need to get through a lot in the day tomorrow as its St Oswalds pcc in the evening. A lot of internet DVD orders although several today seemed to contain duplicates which required emails , I don't like to doubt peoples wishes for the same thing over again but it is a nightmare getting them prepared and sent off then someone wanting a credit. Nothing in the snail mail today, I want to find details of my cousins hospital ward in London, she had a sort of stroke - yes this on top of all the other illnesses and worse this past couple of weeks, getting to dread the phone ringing. On the bright side Yvonne and Graham managed to get to St Marks Square in Venice ( on duck boards) despite the flooding although hide tide was chasing them by the sound of it. An interesting statistic on our Youtube channel which seems now to be going from strength to strength, Vietnam has now knocked the UK off top viewing spot - amazing that this has happened although shame they don't buy DVDs! All the analytics show strong growth in number of hits, retention, revenue. It was a shame I had to block comments as I enjoyed the positive feed back and knowing how much the clips meant to so many of you but the bad stuff was more than my blood pressure needed. Meanwhile Bath this afternoon for tonights slide show. Comments are closed.
