READY FOR KENT AND SUSSEX FILM TRIP

The PMP Amazon shop is on pause while we are away and EBay is on holiday settings. You are welcome to use our own shop anytime although orders will not be posted until next Monday, ie a week today. We shall be heading straight down to Kent leaving 4am from Cheshire and should be starting in Maidstone followed by Chatham and Maidstone. We stay over in Kent and Thursday cover trucks at Dover then on to Folkestone and if time permits on to Hastings. The Friday will be Brighton then Eastbourne then Saturday some family time at Eastbourne enjoying sunning ourselves on Eastbourne prom.

Returning to our last trip we finished our South Wales amble at Newport, the light there is a bit tricky, auto on the video handles it but not so good for still photography however here are the shots I took as our last blog before our travels in the south east which will be followed the week after next by a week down in Devon and Cornwall so fingers crossed that the summer weather holds good until then. We have a trip to Essex in the offing and East Anglia. Also intended we hope to get up to Scotland and Northern Ireland and eventually to ROI.

I've been helping with some old Mini Dv and Hi8 family tapes and am well through them now, Mandy's cousin was kind enough to donate their lightly used Hi8 and Mini Dv cameras so we now have operational two of each. Always good to be on top of these things. The DVD orders are down to a trickle now, unsurprising with the lovely weather, we enjoyed an evening in the sun with our neighbours, there seemed to be an awful lot of empty wine bottles this morning.

If I can get a blog done as we travel I will although it may not get to Facebook and will have no photos. I read that the EU will be having a sort of electronic passport on mobile phones, I may need to get a chip for one of Mandys old phones perhaps from Tescos just to show the squiggle square thing. In UK we have the paper version of the vaccination passport. If everything goes well and the new mutations of Corona don't explode we may get an overseas trip for transport, I've got Romania in my sights as something interesting to revisit and not too distant.
