The weather here was bleak, we nipped out for some shopping and to the bank but other than that stayed indoors with the heating on. The wind blew a few more trees down but its still ok with the electric touch wood. I don't think the weather tomorrow will be much better but you never know. I also want to get a couple of archive films done this week. I only have tomorrow free so its not looking good for present day trips out and I've promised to do some more archive anyway. As I'm into 'port' mode lets look back at Felixstowe.
I got the remainder of Dave Forrests cine collection copied to discs and several back ups in case the loaned ones don't return and also got DVD covers and cases, actually you can get quite a lot on a DVD if pushed. Then I started work on the right hand side of my port scene on the top shelf 3rd diorama. So much to get a real port down to the size of 36 inches, and it will have to share an access road with the distribution centre . I've got the craneage and container backdrops in place. The sky will need a bit of blending in. I've got oodles of containers printed off, I'll cheat and mount them on heavy card and only show two sides. My mountain of backing card and sticky back copy paper is quickly reducing.
