Due to adverse weather conditions and prior appointments and travel we will not be able to film this week. We will however carry on with work increasing our archives. I have loaded the Youtube clips for our recent visits and will hope to put up several more which will span the next week while we are away. It was a frustrating day at times getting to grips with Booking.com which has proved hazardous in the past but I got there in the end and cashed in my BA e voucher to book the Cyprus flights. Avis has been good with the car hire when their site timed me out. I had to tic tak with my travelling companion Martin regards final details on our Romania trip in May, that too is now all complete. The Mexico trip is fully booked just the July Brazil trip which needs booking for the Sao Paulo extension on our return and main flight to book, everything is pencilled in so it won't take long to finalise. It is hard going as we are well out of practise with travel arrangements and the stress aged 70 ( nearly) is unwanted but we are not ready yet to hang up our travellers knap sacks. I have a lot of material to go through and save to digital from S VHS C cassettes from the Bubb family archive. I'm on the last lap of their cine film. Sorry we were unable to post yesterday but time slipped by and today we had two runs to Ellesmere Port Cheshire Oaks to sort new suitcases and then to return one with a faulty lock, yes very annoying but with 50% off... So where shall I go then, I'm toying with putting my Bangladesh material on Youtube, I've enjoyed our trips there, double deckers are always a big draw for me and there are plenty there although the last visit was in virtual civil war conditions. I'll pop a few photos on and see how you like them. Comments are closed.
