We had to get up and pick up the two strange chaps at the B&B in Middlewhich that we had booked, my fellow church warden Keith had dropped them off there yesterday evening. I'm too tired to go into the whole saga, we took them back to St Oswalds to collect their trolleys and saw them on their way. In retrospect given their website and investigating we think that they are just two German lads getting a cheap tour around the world and not monks or whatever. Obtaining money, goods, services by deception is a crime and really what we spent on them could have gone to other better causes. They had expressed an intent on going on to a church in Presbury but they wouldn't have been welcomed there and were directed to go to a church in Macclesfield which never closes it's doors. For what it's worth here is a picture of them at our church. Tomorrow we are having a go at laying out the memorial stones to form the link from path to toilet and I'm also going to try and tie in with the tree man from Knutsford over the Copper Beech tree. Lets now look back at Sarajevo and our trip there starting out at an early hour from Zagreb bus station, the carrier is EuroLines a Bosnian registered bus and crew. We are now in Rep Srpska having passed through the border from Croatia. This was a comfort stop, the drivers gorged themselves with a huge breakfast. Centrotrans is a very large player in the transport scene in Sarajevo and even in Rep Srpska. A school bus parked opposite the cafe. Next a passing truck Although used a lot for road signs in Srpska cyrillic is less pervasive there than twenty years ago. Getting decent shots from a moving coach is very difficult a few shots as we made our way to Bosnia Comments are closed.
