Greeting readers everywhere, just back from two days at Boyle St in Manchester, really a good weekend for company and meeting folk and catching up, trading a bit down on last year but really not too bad considering the difficult trading conditions this year and of course a very big thank you to all those who came to visit us and a tiny bit more on top to those whose graced us with purchases and of course thanks to George and the museum team for putting it all together and presiding over a sometimes bumpy road with good humour and calmness. We had very good neighbours next to us, a slightly obnoxious chap further down who used our display to sort his photos on but it takes all sorts. We seem to have gained a good pile of Christmas cards but really must sit down tomorrow night and get the remainder of ours sent out, the first batch is ready to go in the morning plus a big bag of DVDs which clears orders received right up to this evening. Just broken off for dinner, we've been dipping into casseroles etc which can be left on the timer when we are out, also had Aldis finest Christmas pudding, cream and Lowes farm ice cream, all very yummy. Tomorrow we pay for the extortinate BA flights to Mexico city for next April. We've also had some rally dates confirmed and we should be uploading the 2015 rally destinations very soon probably starting with Boyle St 28/29th March. I'm just finishing the latest of the West Midland DVDs volume 7 I think and the next tapes to upload will be run off and I'll need to get covers done and Youtube clips taken, it all takes precious time up. I don't know what I'll do by way of archives after the West Midlands it will possibly be finishing the Isle of Man one of the few British Isles locations not completely on DVD yet. Then I'll have to run through the rest of my overseas destinations although I suppose Isle of Man would count as one itself. I did take a few shots outside the museum today those are below. I also read that a survey taken recently states that 30% of British people cannot express their political beliefs, I think 80% would be nearer the mark, at least it would be good to have a few weeks or months before a generral election for people to say out loud what many English people would really like to see happen in their own country rather than a load of toffee nosed public school boys telly us they know best.
