August bank holiday it may well be next weekend but at present its really more like Easter at best and I switched the heating on at the office this morning as my fingers were so cold. Not a whole lot to report, the van may finally have reached Trafford Park Volkswagen central but what and when will get fixed heaven knows. It was a joy to get a good nights sleep yesterday and we both felt like human beings again today and at least a dose of sunshine makes you feel a little better. I've been trying to get all the weekends Scottish material edited and the last DVD at Lathalmond in just burning on the master DVD as I write. We've also been out in the back garden draping the covers from the Herne Bay event over the washing line trying to get all the sheets dry and stop them from eventually stinking, at least we didn't gain anything like that at Lathalmond and really just Heaton Park and Showbus to endure outdoors this year. Tonight I must try to get the covers done for this latest round of DVDs, I'll also incorporate the Japanese 'help' messages via Youtube to add locations to the Japanese tram filmsd which I uploaded last week, I'm still getting messages but nothing has come through for the first films I put up. UI should have clips on tonight on Dundee and Lathalmond museum. I did also get the photos from the weekend trimmed up ready to file away, like all our many thousands of other shots they are all available to purchase on our Smug Mug site, links via this web site 'links' page. Its dieting days again and I think we over did the cooked breakfasts staying with Pat and Norman at Loch Fitty cottage in Fife. On Thursday evening we are meeting up with an old pal Tony O'Mahoney at Southern Cemetery and showing him the Hardy family graves which may add some tales to the guided tours he does which include both history and nature, Tony advised me it was I who first suggested walking through the cemetery as we went to sign on the dole in the early 1970s. Tonight some more photos from the weekend and this time its all at the Lathalmond museum. I must cut it short so much to do at the moment and thankfully we shall be having a rest on Sunday and Monday, Saturday depends on the weather for filming but Northampton is a possible.
