Yet another sleepless night as I try to avoid using the sleeping pills, I'm trying for at least one night in three but its like being jet lagged not sleeping a wink all night through. The benefits could be that i have unlimited time to do editing etc but rest is really essential if I an to keep what little sanity I have left. Anyway cutting to the meat of the matter I did manage to get our full DVD list on to the Hudl which was amazing, it was a bit long winded but we now have it with all the sort facilities of a spreadsheet so at rallies there will be no more hunting up and down the rows of DVDs looking for needles in haystacks we shall be able to pinpoint your desired object with a couple of flicks on the Hudl, hooray for a bit of progress. It should have been the day for the cleaners but one couldn't come so we've rearranged for Friday which left the morning free so instead of changing the beds we headed off to the delights of Macclesfield where I broke my post op duck on bus filming and got about 15 minutes of the buses and will upload to Youtube a trailer, the other components will start rolling tomorrow with a visit to Northwich after my physio. The knee stood up very well with just a small amount of additional swelling and then we had coffee and cake at Marks which is near the car park, Mandy picked me up an additional pair of DVT socks which cost a fortune and just seem to come in black which looks very nice with a little tubigrip showing white above them. It was that cold that nature was doing the cooling bit for me. When we got back we caught up with the domestic chores, ice packs then on my knee after doing my exercises and then I resumed the editing of The Best Ever reading Trolleybus DVD which is now complete and the master copy is burning as I tinkle away on the keys. Tomorrow time permitting I'll make a start on The Regional Bus Archive Central Southern England, I've masses of material much of which hasn't been seen for many years and some not at all and with computer enhancement it looks much better than in wretched VHS days when the copies were about third generation at best. Photos weren't plentiful at Macclesfield as I forgot to put a fullly charged battery in the still camera which has been on the go for ages and of course ran out of juice and there was no way I was going all that way back! Needless to say with a crutch and camera plus video I was running out of hands. Comments are closed.
