THERE'S AN INCONTINENT GUNMAN LOOSE IN THE STORE

I'm fairly certain there wasn't an incontinent gunman loose in John Lewis's store at Handforth Dean near Manchester airport although on past performance anything is possible with police and fire reaction at three hours or more. It was yet another son of BR announcement over speakers. We couldn't hear the salesman as we discussed the quotation visit to measure and quote for carpets, longe, dining room and bedroom. We did go to the cafe and had what sounded a pleasant cake with rhubarb, almond etc really it was just extra sweet with icing with red squiggles and a thin layer of rhubarb.

I have now finished decorating the downstairs loo and about to start tomorrow on the hall , stairs and landing with hopefully some time to look at the new 400' reel cine scanner. With reference to the weather forecast tonight we'll be filming two days bus and one trucks on Wed, Thursday and Friday. Saturday I'm painting the front door. I've got the appointment through for a scan ref the hernia at the local cottage hospital. The last week of the month will be a detailed coverage of good old Essex. We seem to have got all dental appointments etc nicely spaced and can use part days for other jobs.

Anyway with Essex coming into view lets revisit some past trips to that neck of the woods. After covering Ensign at Grays you can be sure that will feature and with a first visit to Clacton I know we need to start there early in the day to get the best lighting.
