A tiring day out in Nottinghamshire, I was up at 5.45 am and over to Mansfield, the journey wasn't bad but getting through the outskirts took 30mins by which time the morning rush was nearly over, no school buses seen then. The activity for day time schedules soon kicked in and it was as busy as ever with a smooth progress through the various routes repeated until monotonous but good coverage nevertheless. I had plenty of time in hand so I carried on to Newark and ended up at Grantham. The former was as busy on a weekday as it is on Saturdays and Grantham isn't really worth bothering about now, mainly just Centrebus and Marshalls plus Stagecoach LRCC. The trip back was ok until I got near home, the M6 had been closed at Knutsford since 1am when a tanker full of coca cola mix spilt when it turned over. This has obviously caused mayhem all day, it was taking 4 hours to get past, reopened just before the main evening rush but then another tanker turned over near junction 23 what a day that's the M6 out of action almost every other day over the past week. Weather - it's been very mild but cloudy. No trips out tomorrow I'll try and get the rest of the standard 8 cine reels listed clips on Youtube etc then start on the Super8. Then there will be the 16mm which is where the money is. We seem to be quiet on the DVD front, anyone wanting presents this seems to be the week to go for. Mandy has the church PCC meeting tomorrow, we are at John Tomlinson recital at RNCM on Thursday, eating at Brodsky's, the on site restaurant. Friday is looking at the moment like it could be an outing to film in York. Photos from this morning first of all, lots to bring you from Bradford though, who's a busy boy then! Remember where possible stills are added directly to our Smumug sales site or you can just browse of course! Comments are closed.
