good afternoon from mexico city where the sun shine nealy all day despite a rather dire weather forecast last night. all things it and telephone seem only to work in fits and starts with no telephone to home at all and as yet no email either it all seems a bit random which is really what mexico seems to be like so far. the trolleys are only a few minute walk away but we've only seem the modernised ones which run on acouple of green routes but nothing of the older trolleys. distances are quite disceptive though and we walked for ages and only got to the other low emission route , we passed under a trolley express way but didn't see anything moving. it must be affair way out to a lot of the feeder routes but well have the car and driver tomorrow. we never felt unsafe, masses of police everywhere especially this morning when the marathon was on. we had a look at a few scenics but nothing of note to be seen which probably explains it slack of international recognition. the trolleybuses were constantly crowded and were a strain when handing on,nobody ever seemed inclined to give up seat for any one of any age. service doesn't exist it's like Cuba you go in and the staff ignore you and pretend to be busy. prices are pretty much the same as the UK. the hotel is a bit basic but well positioned if you were anormsltourist there seem to beplenry of suit case people in this afternoon. ourfeet areweary and if we can get anything to work it would be nice to have the radio on from home. I still haven't managed to reach Mandy to tell her everything isok .
