A wonderful evening yesterday with the concert and firework display, least said about the beacon lighting, I seem to remember this was a weak spot before but being a beacon location does allow us to fly the Royal Standard for the evening. A shame the Queen has had to watch the service on telly this morning, I really wonder if there is something we aren't being told. Anyway I've now edited two films on the new version or Edius on the new super computer and look forward to playing with some of the many facilities of the programmes which we now have uploaded. We had a very brief sit out in the garden, the weather broke last night just as the splendid firework display came to an end, it was an all round superb effort for a village of only just over 500 people and we had 200 in the concert, more came along to watch the fireworks, the Bells looked busy as did Janet at The Crown , we are dropping in there this evening. The weather is really a downer for the bank holiday, the outlook for the running day at Kirkby is light rain most of the morning at least but I've got my brolly at the ready. We are fingers crossed that we can have an alfresco afternoon tea with neighbours on Saturday and then settle down to watch the jubilee concert. I will get the DVD covers ready asap and then I can load them on the shop. I've got some little screen shots which give a taste of the Take me back to the 50's programme. Comments are closed.
