As the cleaners were due to be here late morning and it was sunny first th8ing I decided to nip down to the A50 Uttoxeter roundabout in Staffordshire a spot we have often used. The weather didn't last but I got enough for two films which will be edited on our return from Hampshire next week. We are hoping weather permitting to cover Reading and Basingstoke tomorrow then on return Monday maybe Portsmouth and something else. I did finish off some more scanning and have ordered from China one of the new 400' reel scanners at £50 including postage, fingers crossed I get one which works which at 20% of some asking prices seems too much to ask for, we'll see how that pans out. Thankfully they are now expecting a price which seems more in line with the product. The latest scanned film just leaves three of Roger de Boers collection to scan, we tele-cined it many years ago but there are lots more reels this time. I had a look at uploads for Malta buses and lorries, there are now quite a few films of interest out there. We've had an afternoon repacking the PMP van and sorting out the garage, it was very warm and close with showers. It was hard graft getting the shed sorted and we now have lorry stock in for Gaydon weekend after this coming and then Scottish stock of buses for Lathalmond plus Ireland and some recent releases. The Gaydon event will see us clearing old truck stock at really cheapo prices at just £20 for any 7 DVDs, sold as seen. Don't miss this once in a lifetime chance to get stocked up on your winter viewing plus Christmas presents. I've been looking at Facebooks Shopify shop to replace Amazon which we pulled out of a week back, still getting crap from them we we mark as junk, that described Amazon well, junk, Chinese shops that pretend to be British, all manner of hassle and bullying for honest British small sellers. Anyway we'll be back with you either Monday night or Tuesday morning meanwhile some shots from the Uttoxeter roundabout, jammed solid with back log of traffic, several motorways were closed earlier today.
