Two trees, well it must be Christmas then, although that inside No17 is mere shadow of the edifice in the house opposite which vies with that at St Oswalds for grandeur, mid you they do have children! It was a dreary damp day, we got up later than usual after catching up on television last night before bed. There was another two bags of post, it was Lawrence's day in the post office section, he struggles to keep up to Dawn's speed and we soon had a healthy queue established but some chatter among the crowd made time pass quickly. Then we went to pay the milk bill, then to Northwich where we visited the new ASDA and got a couple of toys to wrap for the Salvation Army appeal for kiddies presents and then an to Waitrose and got some veg etc plus a trip to the butchers in Knutsford and a visit to the new Honey shop on Plumley Moor road, more presents for relations and friends. At home it was time to erect the Christmas trees, still raining though and it felt cold even if the actual temperature was above average. The trees are now twinkling away. I've got all the DVDs made for recent bus visits and will shortly be loading the trailer clips on our Youtube channel. I must think about doing my Christmas video to the world of PMP followers, I don't think I'll try and do it live, it took ages to sert up the first time and I only got two viewing live although it got plenty of hits afterwards. I've typed up the Polio Fellowship meeting minutes in the absence of the sec, St Oswalds gave the group £750 which will assist with visits by the group next year starting with the boat museum at Ellesmere Port who are taking out seats on a vessel to make room for all the members wheel chairs. We must do a letter of thanks and of course as Mandy is on the PCC it was she who had put forward the PF group but needs to give a talk to the congregation of the work of the Polio Fellowship. I've copied a few more 16mm films alongside some of the other activities plus we got the latest delivery of DVD discs and covers and are using the DVD printer on the new stock which has it's strange almost hypnotic actions and noises which form a back drop. Well if that's not enough for a day in retirement what is. The photos are from Telford at the new bus station, a bit of a feeble joke as it will shortly be the old bus station as they are supposed to be building a new one opposite but the 'old' one isn't that old itself.
