I wonder how many of you realised that the social distancing rules on buses changed from yesterday, now all forward facing seats can be used. These are the details which get hidden away. This evening I managed to order up 2 of the NHS vaccination confirmation letters, as my mobile is too ancient to do more than a text and Mandy struggles turning hers on and what to point where etc with those silly squiggly square efforts. The NHS have a help line it is written by a 10 year old computer game player which every step requires a computer , email, texts etc unless you persist through to the end and get a really lovely real person who will help you out. I had a zoom meeting this afternoon but managed to get over to Liverpool in the morning to take advantage of the forecast sunshine. I started at Switch Island but a line of clouds started running over, I got the first hour done then seeing nothing but clear blue sky ahead I went up to the docks, only a few minutes further on but clear blue sky from start to finish at such a short distance away. If the weather is good II may be going down to Wolverhampton and Redditch or similar tomorrow. I can't be back too late as we had the church annual pcc meeting, then Thursday we are shopping, getting my hair cut and going for out first pint back at the Crown which we haven't been able to do since December. Without further ado here is a slide show from this morning. I was chuffed that the strike a Go Ahead had some success but I fear there will be small print yet to be unearthed. I think we gave it very good coverage, a long time since that many 'foreign' buses were seen on stage carriage work in the UK. Comments are closed.
