The strange spring weather continues with alternating high winds, torrential rain, thunder and below normal temperatures. We had two emergencies today, one the water was backing up from the blocked soak-aways so I swept it down towards the front which has a good fall down to the road and main gutters. The second was Mandy preparing dinner when she cut her finger instead of the spub. Mandy has also spoken to the doctor about her elbow which continues to get worse especially the strain when she is using the wheelchair, basically now it hurts all the time. Pain killers are useless on Mandy and he has come up with an appointment with the physio hope its not the same one I had who banned me making further appointments when my shoulder was in agony as he said my spine was so deteriorated that the wasn't anything they could do to help. I've been having a good push at the diorama, most of the car park is complete as is the right hand side now a M&S Food Hall. I've found a picture I can use as a base to model electric charging bays and also graphics for parent and child places, disabled was the only one I had. I've measured up the trolley bay, the Faller kit has rather more pieces than I would have liked, I'll have to wait for a really rainy day to tackle that. We had quite a large post bag going out this morning although not that much more today despite updating Amazon and EBay shops, perhaps everyone is heeding my pleas to use the PMP shop. The new releases up to London are all on it. I've also got another hour of the Romanian 1996 trip on as raw footage unedited as there are some good street scenes. Sibui was my favourite, now trams and trolleybuses are gone and I would guess most of the horse and carts. This like many of our archives is now on the shop, these are listed on the archive list as opposed to the main DVD ( and download) list of edited programmes. I thought I should draw a line in the sand with the DVD side, looking ahead I doubt whether I would continue after I'm 80, another decade to go, I'll try and get more to download, those who still need DVDs may be reducing in number by that time. Lets now go to Westminster etc on Fridays London trip, deserted streets, I've deleted the surplus files so when I've done with them for blog they'll go into our still image external drive. Don't forget there is almost 1/2 million images there for review with watermark or clean down load and prints to purchase. There is even a family section by request for sharing with other in my own and Mandy's family. Comments are closed.
