As promised we have turned out attention back to lorries although the weather hasn't really been on our side for this. First I went to the Stobart Widnes Port, after a hot weekend it was freezing cold and windy at Widnes so it was on with hat, scarf and gloves. It was mainly cloudy with brighter spells but plenty of Stobarts in action as you would expect. I had forgotten to charge up my camera batteries after the spell at Bromley getting home late Monday night last week and didn't have a great deal in reserve when I headed on to Liverpool docks where it was a clear blue sky but still cold and windy. Lots of action here as you would expect, I'm looking forwards to hot summer days here in a t shirt and shorts, well I can dream can't I. I've got a lot of the 16mm films ready to load on Youtube and put on eBay but it's been very quiet on the net so I might have a quick sale in the run up to Easter. I spoke to my brother in law Graham in Northampton who has given me some guidance in finding the right spot to film at for the distribution centres there so fingers crossed for suitable weather. Remember we have other 'new' locations in mind for this summer. After I've watched the weather forecast tonight I'll make my mind up on the bus locations for tomorrow, probably south of Birmingham! There that's a close as I can give for the moment, if you want to see this years line up look at the news page out to do list is there plus confirmed rally dates. The slide show tonight is from Runcorn this morning Comments are closed.
