Welcome friends, relations, customers worldwide - today was a rarity with sunshine in Warrington which drew me from the office at lunch time and I headed down to Warrington only for a few clouds to gather. Anyway as it turned out I did pretty well quite quickly finding myself a chap place to park which was convenient to the buses and plenty of almost non stop bus action and full marks to the Warrington drivers for their friendliness and good humour plus those of Arriva, GHA, Halton- not sure about Fairbrothers. Did get a group of loons who leapt in front of the camera, probably ordinary men on their own but put more than one together and they do lots of weird things. The balloon flight for tomorrow morning was no surprise here, cancelled - that's the fourth attempt, rebooked for the end of the month perhaps summer will be on the way by then. So that means more rain and falling temperatured for tomorrow. I've already edited the Warrington DVD, need to make the cover, list on our shop and get clips on to Youtube this evening. Youtube takes me to another subject, the phone went about 6. and it was a chap from a community art project who wanted to have the use of a clip hed seen on Youtube. It was out film but taken from an old video and put on this chaps channel who does stuff about Derby, had 50K hits on it robbed from us. Anyway I'm helping the arts project. If anyone does want to use our clips they can be freely embedded from our site no restriction, it means that if someone clicks on it they view on our site of course with the opportunity of hitting an advert and providing revenue to support our work. Talking of which we have the PMP sponsored POPS rally at the Brittania stadium at Stoke this Sunday. I've received yet more cine film today, quite a collection and a mammoth task getting it all copied, some stuff on EBay seems to attract huge money whether they always get it is another thing, moderation in all things and the pounds and pennies looking after each other and all that jazz. I tidied up a bit inn the garden but waste bin is full until they've emptied them tomorrow, I want to keep on top of the weeding and grass pulling. THe clips will be ready to upload soon, three small trailers of Warrington, don't get too excited will you. I got all the images done on the first of the Scottish social history films using a variety of sources including the Winter collection which is really terrific stuff. Obviously tonights slide show is from Warrington where else! Comments are closed.
