Patience paid off and after a couple of weeks waiting the Weebly blog site regained the ability to support a title. The loading of items from our Youtube site to various other media outlets seems to be creating some new followers particularly as we widen our appeal with the subject matter offered. This will be helped by the arrival today of the EBay purchase from Turkey which has seen yet another cine collection arrive to join our archive which in due course will be put in the hands of our friend John Bishop in Sussex and no doubt get some outings at the many film shows he puts on in aid of a multitude of charities and groups which he supports. The international nature of our contacts is fully realised nearly every day, today I sent a copy of my own passport to Zhang in China, Alan Mortimer wished us well on our trip to Mexico, the films arrived from Turkey etc. We now have followers on Tweeter or whatever and the other modes keep buzzing through with the amazing results of my postings but nothing anything like the latest milestone as we broke through yet another million Youtube hits. The days really do seem full to over flowing, perhaps John and I will have a little time to reflect on the years as we have a drink or two at the old cantina in Mexico city, also planning a tourist day Sunday out on the open top bus tour which will give us a feel for the city and even a few touristy pictures before we plunge properly into the mix with camera all out on Monday and pray for an absence of thunder showers and other nasties that the climate could bring. Packing still continues although I have checked us both in and we'll both be taking hand bagguage only which does reduce the chances of mishap, we just need to be on our guard but not paranoic. I've forgotten to get any nibbles for the trip, I expect they'll have sweets in Mexico, won't they? I got another ebay purchased film arived today along with the Turkish films , a few more orders for DVDs in the post which has been busier than the net this week. After work today I spotted an opportunity for a M6 film as traffic was grinding to a halt outside our landing window and I nipped down to the road bridge near Birchwood Drive and got enough to go with the Runcorn shots the other lunch time to provide a new truck DVD. Still shots from this are below. We also managed to get off a trio of letters to those horrid Prostrate officials in Edinbugh plus copies to the head of Hitler youth in Scotland Nicola Sturgeon, I thought there was something fishy about her. Cheerio till we meet again across the airwaves or however these thing work its all a mystery to me, no wonder the kiddies brains are frazzled with all these laser beams flying around.
