We were woken from our slumbers at 5.50 this morning with the alarming news that Mandy's cousin Max in New Zealand had suffered a stroke a couple of weeks back, in between we hadn't been in touch as Max is the more computer savvy and explains an urgent call for phone contact the other day. Well thankfully it was only Max's speech which has suffered and with therapy this is already improving. So our very best wishes and prayers for Max and Tina and all their family who must have been very concerned. Also in the wars is our neighbour over the road, Alex, who reapeared after some days away sans car, some idiot in a van hit her head on on the wrong side of the road, she seems to have sustained quite a few cuts and bruises and arm in a sling. After church we cracked on with domestic jobs, I carried on with the minor decorative improvements of wear and tear in the bedrooms, bathroom and landing windows and tiles but when I'd finished the whole afternoon had passed by. We are struggling to keep up with the weather outlook which is changing by the minute but sufficient to say we shall try and get out with the camera on Mon, Tues,Wednesday and Friday. Very little to get ready by way of DVDs so just going to get them done and then sit down with the remainder of the wine, has beef from one of the German cheapos, absolute rubbish I don't rate them at all but Mandy thinks it saves money, not when it goes in the bin I say. We might get back to Telford to finish off the Shropshire DVD so here is a stab at a slide show from thereabouts with first Staffs and then Shropshire. Comments are closed.
